Last Blog
Hello everyone...
This is going to be my final blog, I hope you have enjoyed the previous blog as much as I enjoyed writing them. Today I will be writing about what I have learned this semester and about my plans for the coming semester. Keep reading and enjoy!
This semester is one of the challenging semesters that I have learned a lot from specifically the Professional Writing course where I learned some communication skills to use in the field work and how to write a resume, a cover letter, a memo and an email to my colleagues at work. I have already applied some of the things I learned in my life, for instance, last month I applied for an internship and a CV and a cover letter were required so I applied what I learned to write these and checked them with my great professor who helped me perfect them. Also, writing a report of Qatar economic development taught me new things about Qatar and how it overcame the blockade from turning it from a crisis to a beneficial thing to Doha’s development. Overall, the course overall was light and helpful.
One year is exactly what’s left for me to graduate, I am very excited for next semester as I’m applying for an internship as a translator and hopefully, I get accepted. I’m also excited about presenting in April our research that we have been working on with one of my great professors in the Linguistics in the Gulf conference which going to add to my experiences. I’m looking forward for the next semester and I hope it will be a great and full of new experiences semester for everyone.

See ya!
