A peek into a linguist life in Doha
Welcome to my blog! In this blog I will be talking about myself, my career and my goals in the future.. My name is Shahed and I am a Jordanian student majoring in English linguistics and minoring in translation at Qatar University. I come from a culture that has a huge part in shaping who I am and how I think, my passion for learning and know knew languages was with me since I was 15 years old and that's when I had a friend who taught herself a new language and became fluent in it which made me even more eager to do something and to take a step forward into what I love. She inspired me that anyone can do anything, so I started learning Spanish and watching and reading more in Spanish, I wouldn't say that I'm even good at it yet, but I always try to find the time to learn more and more.
